1. Purpose and nature of the service
Duoria is a service that designs and writes personalised travel itineraries. Duoria does not sell, book, market or organise any journey, stay, transport, accommodation or tourist service, and acts neither as a travel agency, nor as an intermediary, nor as an agent of the establishments mentioned.
The Client makes every booking themselves, in their own name and under their sole responsibility, directly with the providers of their choice. Duoria receives no commission on those bookings.
Depending on the plan chosen, the service comprises: a personalised itinerary delivered as a digital document, access to a personal web application carrying that itinerary, and, where applicable, the revisions and exchanges included in the plan.
The work consists of choosing, verifying and documenting a book of addresses, and of offering for each moment of the day a suggestion together with alternatives. The number of addresses and alternatives depends on the plan and is stated on the site at the time of ordering. Suggestions are never obligations: the Client remains free to follow, set aside or change anything that is proposed.
Duoria sells and books no journey. Duoria is neither a travel agency nor a travel operator within the meaning of articles L211-1 et seq. of the French Tourism Code, and markets neither package holidays nor linked travel arrangements. The Client makes their own bookings, in their own name, with the establishments and carriers of their choice, and contracts directly with them.
2. Plans and prices
- The Journey — €149 incl. tax
- The Experience — €299 incl. tax
- The Signature — €599 incl. tax
Prices are given in euros, all taxes included. Payment is made in full at the time of ordering, by the means offered on the site.
The budgets, rates and price ranges mentioned in the itineraries are given purely as an indication, at the date of writing. They constitute neither a quotation nor a price commitment on the part of Duoria or of the establishments mentioned.
3. Delivery times
The itinerary is delivered within 48 working hours of receipt of payment and of all the information needed to design it (24 hours for The Signature). This period starts from the moment the Client has answered the preparation questionnaire.
4. Right of withdrawal
Under article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Client has fourteen days in which to exercise their right of withdrawal.
However, under articles L221-25 and L221-28 13° of the same code, the Client expressly waives their right of withdrawal when they ask for performance of the service to begin before the end of that period. This waiver is obtained explicitly at the time of ordering, by a separate, un-ticked checkbox.
As the itinerary is personalised digital content, designed specifically for the Client, no statutory refund can be made once it has been delivered. Duoria nevertheless grants, of its own accord, the commercial guarantee described in article 6.
5. Revisions
The revisions included vary by plan: none for The Journey, one for The Experience, two for The Signature. A revision is an adjustment of the existing itinerary based on the Client's feedback, handled within 24 working hours. It cannot cover a complete change of destination or dates, which constitutes a new order.
6. Satisfaction guarantee
For The Experience and The Signature, the Client has forty-eight hours from delivery of the complete itinerary to request a full refund, by a simple email to hello@duoriatravel.com, without having to give a reason.
The refund is made within seven working days, to the payment method used for the order. The first two days of the itinerary remain the Client's; access to the following days is withdrawn on the date of the refund.
This guarantee is commercial. It is granted freely by Duoria, is in addition to the Client's statutory rights and restricts them in no way.
7. Liability
Duoria takes every possible care in selecting and verifying the information it passes on. Duoria is bound by an obligation of means, not of result.
Duoria cannot be held liable for:
- the availability, prices, opening hours or quality of the services of the establishments recommended;
- the cancellation, refusal or modification of a booking made by the Client;
- an external event affecting the journey: weather, strike, closure, transport incident, force majeure;
- the consequences of inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the Client;
- the Client's failure to check their travel documents, entry formalities, insurance and health cover.
It is for the Client to take out suitable travel insurance and to check their administrative formalities before departure.
8. Assistance during the journey
The assistance included in The Experience and The Signature is an information and advice service. It is in no way a medical, legal or repatriation assistance service. In an emergency, the Client must contact the local emergency services (112 in the European Union) and their insurer.
9. Intellectual property and use
The itinerary and the application are granted to the Client for strictly personal and private use, for the journey concerned. Any resale, publication in full, commercial distribution or reproduction for third parties is prohibited.
10. Personal data
The processing of data is described in the privacy policy.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a disagreement, the Client should first contact Duoria at hello@duoriatravel.com in order to seek an amicable solution.
Under article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Client may use a consumer mediator free of charge. The details of the mediator covering Duoria are given on request at hello@duoriatravel.com, and repeated on every order confirmation. The Client may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Data controller
Duoria Travel — hello@duoriatravel.com
Data collected, and why
- Identity and contact (first names, email) — to design the itinerary and write to you. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Travel information (destination, dates, occasion, preferences) — to personalise the itinerary. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
- Payment data — handled exclusively by our payment provider. Duoria never has access to your card details.
- Browsing data — audience measurement. Legal basis: consent.
What you write into the application
What you enter into your application — ticked boxes, expenses, personal notes, photographed documents — is stored only in your phone's local memory. It is sent to no server and Duoria has no access to it. It disappears if you clear your browser data.
The conversational concierge
For plans including a concierge, your messages are passed to Anthropic PBC (United States), which provides the language model, for the sole purpose of generating a reply. These exchanges are not used to train any model. Transfers outside the European Union are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
When we contact an establishment for you
Two functions of the application pass information to a third party, and only if you ask, once per reservation:
- "Would you like us to check availability?" — if you say yes, we ask the establishment whether it can have you on the date, at the hour and for the number of people indicated. Nothing else. We do not book: the reservation stays yours, made by you and in your name.
- "Would you like your concierge to tell them why you are coming?" — if you say yes, we tell the establishment your name and the occasion you are celebrating. That step commits only us: the establishment remains free to take it into account or not, and Duoria guarantees no special attention.
Without your request, no establishment is contacted and no information about you is passed to one. You may withdraw your request at any time as long as it has not been carried out.
Recipients
Your data is neither sold, nor rented, nor passed on for advertising purposes. It is accessible to Duoria and to its technical processors, each bound by a processing contract within the meaning of article 28 GDPR: Cloudflare (hosting of the site and the application), PlanetHoster (email), Wix (domain name), Web3Forms (form transmission), Anthropic (conversational concierge), and our payment provider. No establishment, hotel, carrier or advertiser receives your data without your explicit request, in the cases described above.
How long it is kept
- Order data: 3 years from the last contact (prospecting); 10 years for accounting records.
- Itineraries produced: kept so that we can give them back to you, unless you ask for deletion.
- Browsing data: 13 months maximum.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to give directions about what becomes of your data after your death. Write to hello@duoriatravel.com — we reply within a month, free of charge. No decision producing legal effects for you is taken solely on the basis of automated processing. You may also refer the matter to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
